Changelog

Everything we ship, as we ship it. Domain, Embed and Mobile, across Skills and Social.

SKILLS

Skills 2.4

One Codebase. Every Configuration.

The workspace configuration layer starts rolling out. Navigation, tab order, filters and unit names move from code into the Configuration API, so the workspace, not the codebase, decides what a deployment shows. The first release is live. Learner profile pages, with history and completion detail, are next.

ADDED
  • Configuration API, first release. Navigation and filters are set per workspace and apply instantly, with no code changes.
  • Answer explanations. Every quiz answer comes with a why, generated with the questions and editable by the operator.
IMPROVED
  • Quiz confirmation, refined. Cleaner overlays, a corrected close action and faster feedback.
  • Location prompts set from the console. Ask once, never nag.
FIXED
  • Grid layouts now hold their shape across screen sizes.
  • Completion ticks display correctly on existing courses.
PLATFORM

Partner Portal 1.0

Partners Ship Blinklink Now.

The partner portal is in production. Agencies and MSPs provision workspaces, spin up demo environments and manage client deployments themselves, with content, courses and analytics in place from day one. On mobile, iOS reaches parity with Embed, and Android starts on the same tracker.

ADDED
  • Partner portal. Self-serve workspace provisioning, demo environments and client deployment management.
  • Seeded environments. Every new deployment starts with working content, courses and analytics, not an empty screen.
  • Mobile analytics. SDK events land in the same analytics pipeline as the web, per device and per install.
IMPROVED
  • iOS at parity with Embed's Recommended format. Android starts in parallel on the same feature tracker.
  • Partner deployments checked account by account for consistent behavior across workspaces.
FIXED
  • Conflicts between Embed and host frameworks resolved. The fix is documented for integrators.
  • Repeated video event triggers patched in the collector.
MOBILE

Mobile preview

One SDK. Every Surface.

Mobile is one native SDK a customer drops into their app. It loads only what the deployment needs from Domain and Embed, starting with Embed's Recommended format. Nothing redirects out of the app, and the Grid and Immersive styles are built for it.

ADDED
  • Mobile SDK preview. Embed's Recommended format, running inside any native app.
  • Behavior set in the console. Autoplay, styles and feed settings change from the console, not with an app release.
  • Playback defaults per deployment. Set once in the console and honored in every app.
IMPROVED
  • Grid and Immersive styles tuned for native screens and gestures.
  • Over-the-air test builds for partners. New builds reach testers within minutes.
  • Scrolls and taps tracked as separate intents, for cleaner engagement data.
FIXED
  • Sessions carry over cleanly between the host app and the feed.
PLATFORM

Platform 3.2

The Road to Self-Service.

Everything underneath self-service is live: rebuilt identity, workspace lifecycle, the system email suite and one API gateway. Sign-up itself is in preview, opening with partners first.

ADDED
  • Workspace lifecycle. Create, suspend and archive workspaces from the console.
  • System emails. Verify, invite, reset and notification templates, themed per product.
  • Self-service sign-up, in preview. Account creation, sign-in and password reset, for partners first.
IMPROVED
  • Identity rebuilt. Role-based access and clean session handling.
  • One API gateway. Every public endpoint sits behind a single, traceable gateway.
  • Embed waits for consent. No event fires before the visitor agrees.
  • Delivery hardened. Failed events retry automatically, so nothing drops silently.
FIXED
  • One-time passcode delivery and sign-in edge cases.
  • Download links for stored content.
PLATFORM

Workspaces · Core migration

Every Service, Workspace-Aware.

The core services cut over. Search, learning, curation and the Domain services now run per workspace: every event, query and course carries a workspace ID, so reporting across workspaces is exact.

ADDED
  • Workspace scoping everywhere. One ID threads search, learning, curation and Domain.
  • Course APIs carry the workspace. Assignments, progress and reports always resolve to the right deployment.
IMPROVED
  • Analytics by workspace. Dashboards report the deployment, not the account.
  • Versioned API reference published for integrators.
FIXED
  • Duplicate duration events removed at the source.
  • Recommendation and playback regressions after the migration, patched the same day.
PLATFORM

Arabic and right to left

Right to Left. Ready for the Gulf.

Arabic right-to-left support lands in Skills LMS quizzing and grading. Underneath it, a second cloud delivery region goes live, serving Gulf deployments in-region.

ADDED
  • Arabic in Skills LMS quizzing and grading. Questions and answers read right to left.
  • A second delivery region. Gulf deployments are served in-region.
IMPROVED
  • DNS and CDN cutover with no references to old endpoints, so every network and VPN path resolves cleanly.
  • Streaming timeouts tuned for long sessions.
FIXED
  • The video feed no longer overlaps in in-app browsers.
  • Stale DNS paths to retired endpoints removed.
PLATFORM

Curative AI · Recommendation modes

Three Modes. One Signal Loop.

Curative AI learns from what people acknowledge. Three recommendation modes ship, from session-aware ranking on the home page to a fully personalized feed, and operators keep a linear mode for feeds that should stay hand-ordered. The feed now adapts after fewer interactions.

ADDED
  • Three recommendation modes. From home page ranking to full feed personalization.
  • Linear mode. Hand-ordered or ranked by Curative AI, set per feed.
  • Cumulative watch time. Repeat views count as the engagement they are.
IMPROVED
  • Click signals reach Curative AI after fewer interactions, so the feed adapts faster.
  • The home page keeps recent uploads pinned while the rest rotates.
  • Rules in plain English, now with your own signals. Curative AI also takes signals from the customer's data platform.
FIXED
  • Like, share and duration events restored to full fidelity.
  • Video events no longer fire on a scroll without intent.
SKILLS

Skills 2.3 · Skills Library

Courses, Off the Shelf.

The Blinklink Skills Library begins: packaged, ready-to-deploy courses, starting with Cyber Awareness and AI Upskilling, built with domain-expert instructors. Progress now updates in real time, and published courses stay editable.

ADDED
  • Skills Library. Packaged courses, starting with Cyber Awareness and AI Upskilling.
  • Real-time progress. Completion is computed live, concept by concept.
  • Edit after publishing. Thumbnails, instructors and subjects change without archiving the course.
IMPROVED
  • Course cards, thumbnails and details cleaned up across Skills.
FIXED
  • Tracks with one or two videos now play correctly.
  • Operator click and video loading issues.
PLATFORM

Workspaces · Preview

One Record Behind Every Workspace.

The workspace arrives as the business layer of the platform. One record per deployment names its parts, switches on the formats it is entitled to, and sets its search and curation. Customers buy a use case, not a technology: Skills and Social are those use cases, as workspaces on one stack.

ADDED
  • Workspaces. The record behind every Skills and Social deployment.
  • Events by workspace. Every click is keyed to the workspace, the session and the section.
IMPROVED
  • Feature switches per workspace. Capabilities turn on without a deployment.
  • Click data restructured for the new schema without losing an event.
FIXED
  • A feed regression for an enterprise deployment, resolved the same day.
SKILLS

Skills 2.2

A Home for Every Course.

The Skills home is rebuilt. Subject filters, course carousels and pagination bring a full catalog onto one page, and filters now load instantly. Uploads get smarter defaults, so operators publish faster and fix less.

ADDED
  • A new Skills home. Subject filters, course carousels and pagination on one page.
  • Smart defaults on upload. Thumbnails and instructors are filled in and stay editable.
IMPROVED
  • Mobile pass across Skills for frontline phones.
  • Faster course discovery. Filters load instantly instead of in seconds.
FIXED
  • Quiz progress now holds while moving between lessons.
PLATFORM

Curative AI · Media pipeline

The Pipeline, Rebuilt.

The media pipeline behind Curative AI is now event-driven. The moment a video lands, it is processed and its titles and descriptions are generated, by the same in-house models Curative AI runs on. Every release now passes an automated test gate before it ships.

ADDED
  • Event-driven media pipeline. Uploads are processed and titled automatically.
  • Automated release gate. An end-to-end test suite checks every release before it ships.
IMPROVED
  • In-house models retrained. Richer titles and descriptions, generated faster.
  • Instant first frame on the Domain player. Adaptive streaming in every browser.
FIXED
  • Repeated quizzes and videos in course playback.
  • Search index stability during infrastructure changes.
DOMAIN

Domain · One-click setup

A Platform on Your Subdomain. In Minutes.

Domain deployments set themselves up. The DNS mapping, the certificate and the delivery network are created automatically, so what took an engineering ticket is now a click in the console. The first publisher deployment goes live on it, with its own development, staging and production environments.

ADDED
  • One-click Domain setup. DNS, SSL and delivery are created automatically.
  • Domains managed in the console. Create, edit and retire customer domains without engineering.
  • Share previews per video. Every shared link unfurls with the right thumbnail and title.
IMPROVED
  • Production monitoring. Data-flow alerts fire before a customer notices.
  • Every enterprise deployment gets its own development, staging and production environments.
FIXED
  • Onboarding issues cleared ahead of the first publisher go-live.
PLATFORM

Platform 3.1

One Analytics Pipeline. Every Feed.

Full-funnel analytics now run the same way across Skills and Social. Feeder standardizes how engagement data reaches the analytics engine, whichever product, surface or format is running, and updates now ship to every product line at once.

ADDED
  • Distribution dashboard. How content reaches people across Embed and Domain, from impression to conversion, in real time.
  • Pause and play events tracked the same way in every player and feed.
IMPROVED
  • Feeder re-platformed. The new pipeline ran alongside the old one for two weeks before the switch, without losing data.
  • Alerting streamlined, with retired services removed.
FIXED
  • Feed setup issues that blocked new Social deployments.
  • Feed data gaps caused by state inconsistencies.
SKILLS

Skills 2.1

The Learning Engine, Independent.

The Skills LMS engine is now its own service, separate from the platform core and scaling on its own. Skills grows with large frontline workforces without competing with Social for resources.

ADDED
  • Independent learning engine. In production, scaling separately from everything else.
IMPROVED
  • Skills pages load faster on frontline phones.
  • Courses render faster on every device.
FIXED
  • A blank screen on landscape video playback.
  • Metric names corrected. "Thumbnail views" is now "page views".
SOCIAL

Social 2.0

Own Your Audience. On Your Platform.

Embedded mode lets the whole Social destination live inside any existing product, with height, navigation, sign-in and settings under the host's control. Domain goes from a standalone destination to a layer inside the products people already use.

ADDED
  • Embedded mode. The Social destination runs inside an existing product, and the host controls layout, navigation and settings.
  • Host settings. Height, navigation, sessions and feed settings, set by the embedding app.
IMPROVED
  • Single sign-on refined for embedded use, with sessions handed from the host app to the feed.
  • Sharing inside the embed. Viewers share without leaving it.
FIXED
  • Account checks during embedded sign-up.
  • Session edge cases inside host apps.
SKILLS

Skills 2.0

Full-Funnel Visibility for Learning.

Skills gets its own analytics. L&D and HR teams see one dashboard from the first video impression to course completion, the same full-funnel view Blinklink gives marketing, applied to training. Comments are live across all content.

ADDED
  • Skills dashboard. Completion rates, session depth and learner progress, course by course.
  • Engagement funnel. From video impression to quiz submission.
  • Comments on every course. With a sign-in prompt for visitors.
  • Finish rating. Shows which content learners actually finish.
IMPROVED
  • One source of truth for L&D and HR across every Frontline Feed.
  • Browser and device data in feed widgets.
  • Two-stage releases. Updates ship without interrupting learners.
FIXED
  • A blank dashboard on first load.
  • Monitoring endpoints restored after infrastructure changes.
2025
SOCIAL

Social 1.3

Smarter Filters. Persistent Analytics.

Filters now take exclusions in plain English, so the playlist behind each filter is sharper. Analytics keep their history for the first time, so trends can be reported over time.

ADDED
  • Exclusions in plain English. Tell a filter what to leave out.
  • Sign-in and onboarding events. First-party data from the first session.
  • Scroll and video load events in the engagement pipeline.
  • Event switches. Turn tracking events on and off per account, in one place.
IMPROVED
  • Analytics history. Data persists for long-term reporting and trends.
  • Clicks handled in the background, so the feed stays fast.
FIXED
  • Connection issues between the analytics engine and reporting.
  • Gaps in onboarding data.
SOCIAL

Social 1.2

Enterprise Scale. Business Dashboards.

Social is ready for enterprise traffic, scaling automatically under heavy load. Business dashboards go live, with audience segments and data export.

ADDED
  • Feed dashboard. Audience engagement, content performance and sessions in real time.
  • Business groups at onboarding. First-party segments from the first session.
  • Progress tracking. Completion, views and unique users, all exportable.
IMPROVED
  • Automatic scaling for enterprise traffic.
  • Allowed-domain lists for accurate click tracking across subdomains.
  • Content security policies tightened for enterprise compliance.
FIXED
  • A caching issue that blocked playback on some networks.
  • A scoring edge case that misreported progress.
SKILLS

Skills 1.0

Short Video Meets Structured Learning.

Skills launches, with Domain as the Skills destination. The Frontline Feed is the short-video experience teams already know how to use, and the Skills LMS makes it training you can measure: courses, quizzes, completion tracking and onboarding, inside the feed. No separate LMS, no webinar links.

ADDED
  • Skills LMS. Course building, quizzes and completion tracking, inside the Frontline Feed.
  • Course carousels. With chapter navigation.
  • Onboarding by business group. Personalized learning paths from day one.
  • Brand controls. Custom icons, logo and preview settings.
IMPROVED
  • Logos, menu labels and learning paths set without developer tickets.
FIXED
  • Search edge cases in course discovery.
  • Sign-in redirects that broke shared links.
SOCIAL

Social 1.1

Three Analytics Views. One Feed.

Domain operators get three separate analytics views, for the Social Feed, the photo feed and the Academy. Mobile playback is fixed, and videos can now be shared.

ADDED
  • Three analytics views. Social Feed, photo feed and Academy, each tracked on its own.
  • Sharing for Domain videos.
  • Mobile-optimized playback.
FIXED
  • Click tracking sources corrected.
  • Mobile playback issues across devices.
